想音樂：The Script - If You Ever Come Back

愛爾蘭三人組合The Script將於四月十四日假九龍灣Star Hall舉行《The Script Live in Hong Kong 2011》，絕對是不容錯過的演唱會！於2010年中推出第二張大碟《Science and Faith》的The Script，承繼兩年前同名大碟《The Script》強勢於各地火紅，更成功於家鄉愛爾蘭及英國登上大碟榜冠軍，可能是繼U2後最佳Irish Band!

整張《Science and Faith》裡最大特色為主音Danny O'Donoghue於歌曲內加入動人的哼唱，「uhhhhhohhhhh…」並非純粹空白，反而不少歌如首支單曲《For The First Time》的靈魂卻在其中(雖然亦有碟評指哼唱部分似令副歌變得不完整)。而全碟的歌詞水準亦相當高，包括英國《每日電訊報》的碟評形容為「如詩般驚喜」。個人尤其喜歡《Science and Faith》的副歌一節：
"You won't find faith or hope down a telescope
You won't find heart and soul in the stars
You can break everything, got the chemicals
But you can't explain a love like ours.

Its the way we feel, yeah this is real
Its the way we feel, yeah this is real"

大碟先後兩首單曲《For the First Time》及《Nothing》都取得不俗成績，至於第三首單曲呢…觀乎YouTube的觀看次數，似乎民意傾向這首《If You Ever Come Back》。這首歌與The Script大部分歌曲彷似一脈相連，同樣唱出男子如何面對逝去的愛情，或追憶或懺悔或失落的矛盾心情，似乎道出了不少男士的心聲呢！
