第53屆格林美獎頒獎典禮已於情人節前夕圓滿結束，所有獎項已知花落誰家。其中Lady Antebellum憑"Need You Now"力壓膾炙人口的"Love the Way You Lie"(Eminem feat. Rihanna)、"Nothin' on You" (B.O.B feat Bruno Mars)、"Empire State of Mind" (Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys)及美國大熱的Cee Lo Green "Fuck You!"，勇奪Record of the Year 及 Song of the Year兩個大獎。雖然有指根據格林美獎近年的取態，鄉謠歌手或許較受評審青睞，不過Lady Antebellum冒起速度的確相當快，絕對值得大家認識。
由Charles Kelley, Hilary Scott及Dave Haywood組成的納什維爾三人組Lady Antebellum於08年首度推出同名大碟《Lady Antebellum》，已獲得廣泛好評。首張single《Love Don't Live Here》旋即打入Billboard鄉謠榜三甲，09年更獲格林美獎提名「最佳鄉謠組合演出」，Lady Antebellum亦獲提名「最佳新人」。直至推出大碟的第三首single《I Run To You》，成為他們首支American No.1 Single (Country Songs)，亦奪得前年失落的格林美「最佳鄉謠組合演出」。
10年Lady Antebellum推出第二張專輯《Need You Now》成績更上一層樓，三首單曲《Need You Now》、《American Honey》以及《Our Kind of Love》都登上Billboard (Country Songs) No.1 。(雖然個人較喜歡第一張大碟=P)其中兩位主音的合拍可謂功不可沒，兩人的聲線沒有犯下奪去對方風頭這個男女對唱的大忌，獨唱時互訴心聲的歌詞感情豐富，合唱時聲音亦相當和諧。加上編曲沒有鄉謠一般帶來的沈悶和千篇一律的印象，甜蜜、別離、思念均有各自的表述，讓聽者的感覺倍增！
P.S. 不要混淆Song of the Year以及Record of the Year！兩者都是頒給單曲的獎項，不過Song of the Year主要嘉許寫曲的人Song Writer，而Record of the Year則是頒給演繹者Performers(包括主唱、 幕後團隊如混音、監製、工程)。
因此並非每年均由同一單位橫掃兩個獎項，例如10年格林美的Song of the Year是Beyonce的"Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)"，Record of the Year卻由Kings of Leon的"Use Somebody"奪得。
